Call for Papers – International Symposium: "Water: A Vector of Peace in the Sahel"
As part of a G3+ project of the Francophonie, the Platform and the Geneva Water Hub are co-organizing the international symposium "Water: A Vector of Peace in the Sahel," which will be held from 22 to 24 September 2025 at Cheick Anta Diop University in Dakar (UCAD), Senegal.
We invite researchers and practitioners to submit their proposals on water as a lever for peacebuilding, climate resilience, and cooperation in the Sahel region.
This event is organized in partnership with UCAD, the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), the Université de Montréal (UdeM), the Pôle Eau Dakar, and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
