Mastering the tools – Moodle, Zoom, Mediaserver & Co tutorials

The University of Geneva provides a wide range of tools and services to support online and blended learning:

Moodle is an online teaching platform that allows you to create a course space where you can deposit course material, communicate with your students and organise online activities.

The diffusion of the courses online (or via streaming in a "co-modal" teaching context where some students follow the course on campus whereas others do so remotely) and their recording is carried out via the Mediaserver service, when the course can be recorded on campus, in one of the Mediaserver-equipped UNIGE classrooms.

When the course is given at a distance or when the classroom is not equipped for Mediaserver, it is the Zoom videoconferencing platform that allows instructors to stream and/or record their classes.

The “Video clip tools” section presents different tools to easily create video content.

Finally, SWITCHdrive and OneDrive are solutions for storing and sharing files.
