Mercuromix
The Mercuromix project, financially supported by the Fondation Les Bois Chamblard, aims to compare mercury methylation, biodiversity and microbial activity involved in these processes in contrasting physico-chemical zones of Lake Geneva. This project aims to show the interest of coupling high-throughput biological, metagenomic and metaproteomic analysis to identify microbial structure and functionality, with physicochemical analysis, in order to better anticipate environmental conditions related to methylmercury formation.
