Students from the Geneva School of Economics and Management participated in an online support session on job searches during the time of COVID-19. This session marks the beginning of a new series of events titled "Mentoring Sessions", organized by GSEM Alumni for students of the School.

The guest speaker for the premier session was Dr. Jean-Yves Mercier, an expert in self-leadership and Director of Pedagogical Innovation for the School's continuing education programs. He presented strategies for entering the labor market, identified the specifics of the current job market, and provided advice on how to maximize one's chances. This was an interactive session, and Dr. Mercier's presentation was accentuated by live polls, questions, and experience sharing.

More than thirty students participated in this first support session, which is offered to all students enrolled in the School's Bachelor and Master programs. Future mentoring sessions will be organized to support students in their professional and personal development and to strengthen the links between current students and the GSEM alumni.
