The "violentomètre"

This "violentomètre" was created by Giorgia Magni, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. It is based on data collected as part of Giorgia Magni's doctoral research entitled "Gender-based violence in higher education: how is it linked to other forms of discrimination and what are the consequences for the academic careers of students who experience it? A case study at the University of Geneva", supervised by Professor Isabelle Collet.

The tool is based on the analysis of qualitative data from testimonials collected using a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews.  This data was collected from 1,327 students at the University of Geneva.
