Europeanness: multilingualism, pluralities, citizenship

<< Back to Previous Page

Flagship 2 provides 3 key research pathways - European citizenship, pluralities, and multilingualism. European citizenship encompasses legal and philosophical dimensions, examining citizen’s rights and responsibilities towards the union and delving into collective ideas and identities in Europe. Pluralities focus on internal diversity in European cultures, politics, and societies by studying memories, European spaces and external relations. Multilingualism covers language acquisition, distribution and interactions at individual and societal levels.
