Translation
The Rectorate provides English language services for students and employees of the University of Geneva.
Students: When preparing for academic exchanges or applications, UNIGE students and alumni can request English translations of their academic transcripts. Send scans of the original French-language transcripts to .
Employees: Contact for an evaluation of your English translation or editing project. Selection criteria include:
- the text’s length
- the estimated number of end users who require access to the text in English
- how long the text will be in circulation
- how broadly the text will be disseminated and possible impact on the University of Geneva’s image.
When sufficient capacity is available, a delivery date will be negotiated for short texts (under 1000 words). For longer texts, if in-house resources are insufficient, we can advise you on freelance options.
