Earth and Environmental Science

Rhéa Garratt obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from UNIGE. She is currently a Product Manager at Pix4D, a software company founded in 2011 as a spin-off from EPFL. The company specializes in photogrammetry, which involves creating 3D models and 2D maps from images captured by drones, planes, or other cameras.

Giovan Peyrotty is a trained geologist and researcher. After completing his academic journey at the University of Geneva (UNIGE), where he earned his PhD in 2020, he pursued several years of postdoctoral research before becoming a research partner, occasionally collaborating on various projects related to the study of past environments. Passionate about science communication and documentary production, he founded the association SciencEscape alongside his research career and has been its full-time director for the past two years. Recognized as a public-interest organization, SciencEscape is a Geneva-based association dedicated to sharing scientists’ passion and knowledge through the creation of accessible documentaries, fostering a stronger connection between science and society.
