The past year has been one of deep and interlocking crises that are growing in scale and severity, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has said, citing the persisting COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the deepening climate crisis as challenges that extend beyond borders, and which have made the work of the United Nations more vital than ever. To conclude: “In turbulent times, work of the United Nations is more necessary than ever”. Precisely, how crisis management transformed the global governance and the one of the UNO?
