ROCCIA - Reconciling companies and AI regulations initiative

Introduction

This project is a preliminary feasibility study for a future project aiming to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) program that can be integrated into business decision-making tools. This program would allow companies to self-check the compliance of their AI projects that use personal data with cross-cutting criteria (digital trust and ethics). Verification would be performed by an integrated program (using machine learning) which would be enriched by the experiences of compliance checks and several external resources. The program will provide a compliance score. This study begins with a literature review and a clear identification of compliance needs with partner companies before proposing a technical solution. In addition, this study aims to determine: (1) the needs of representative companies; (2) digital trust and ethics standards used in compliance benchmarks; (3) AI methods for verifying compliance; (4) the evaluation of the methods to be used to integrate the ethical and non-ethical rules on AI into the program envisaged.
