After a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Yves Gerber obtained a master's degree in Educational Sciences (special needs education), then a masters' in Psychology (orientations: applied and developmental) at the University of Geneva. His master's thesis research focused on bullying among students and the social-emotional development of children at summer camps. He is currently a research and teaching assistant at the IDEA team, where he is preparing a doctoral thesis on the development of critical thinking.
