Dr. Neda Shafiei is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Geneva, funded by the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Heritage from the Art University of Isfahan, where her dissertation, Tehran Historic Urban Landscape on Instagram: A Narrative Study to Extract Principles and Criteria, examined the role of social media in shaping public perceptions of heritage and urban identity. Her academic trajectory combines architecture, heritage management, and urban studies, with a strong focus on how digital platforms influence contemporary heritage discourses. Her current postdoctoral research investigates how digital narratives on social media challenge traditional, expert-driven approaches to heritage conservation and explores how diverse perspectives emerging in online spaces can foster more inclusive and creative heritage management practices. |
