The Complementary Certificate in Applied Statistics program provides non-specialists, i.e. users of statistics, with statistics skills.
The program is aimed at any Master or Doctoral students, such as those from the fields of science (biology, chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, and geology), environmental science, social sciences, medicine, archaeology, and others, at the University of Geneva, or elsewhere, wishing to build their knowledge of statistics.
The program consists of core courses and specialized courses in different disciplines. The core courses are the field’s starting point and provide students with key concepts. Students must obtain at least 12 ECTS credits in core courses. They acquire the remaining ECTS credits by completing the program with the specialized courses.
