The workshop will delve into the mental health risks associated with excessive online engagement

IHEID 9h-18h | Maison de la Paix, Chem. Eugène-Rigot 2

On average, people spend over 6 hours a day online, much of it on social media and digital platforms. This constant connectivity has led to growing concerns about digital addiction, with technologies designed to capture and commodify our attention. The workshop will delve into the mental health risks associated with excessive online engagement, including anxiety, depression, and disrupted sleep, and provide practical strategies for mitigating these effects.

The workshop, open to all who are interested, will be led by Prof. Souhail Belhadj Klaz and take place in room S12, starting at 8:30 a.m.
