Profile Summary

Analytical and Environmental Chemistry: A highly motivated professional with experience in various analytical techniques, including HPLC-MS, GC-MS, TLC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS, FTIR, UV-Visible Spectrometry, Stopped-flow spectrophotometry and PCR, qRT-PCR, MLST, metagenomic approaches. The research efforts involve developing and validating new and innovative approaches: for advancing fundamental understanding of the fate and effects of contaminants in the environment, and analytical chemistry instrumentation and statistical analyses to be used in environmental chemistry, molecular microbiology and its application to environmental pollution assessments. In addition to chemical fate and dynamics, these methods are used to assess the toxicity of agricultural and industrial chemicals, and complex contaminant mixtures. Physicochemical and microbiological assessment of the environmental contamination, methods development; quality control and quality assurance; Environmental audit, and environmental impact assessment.
