Sarah Serhal is a Research Fellow (Maitre-Assistant) at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Geneva, Switzerland. She is a pharmacist with a Master's degree in International Public Health and earned her doctorate at the Woolcock Institute for Medical Research, University of Sydney, Australia. Her work explores how to overcome patient-related, treatment-related, and healthcare system-related barriers to achieving optimal disease control, and how these actions can be translated into concrete, real-world impact using principles of implementation, behavioural and systems science.

Sarah is a co-investigator on the myCare Start-I project, leading the context- and stakeholder-driven development and adaptation of the myCare Start service, planning its implementation, and overseeing its evaluation.
