Pharmaceutical sciences

Tanika Bawa obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences (BSc) at Durham University in the UK, after which she joined the University of Geneva to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroscience in 2018. She then went on to obtain a PhD in Neuroscience also at UNIGE in 2024. She now works in science communication at Infinity Communications, combining medical copywriting and project management. Drawing on her academic background, she works across a wide range of projects, from writing peer-reviewed publications to creating infographics and delivering public health campaigns for organisations.

Nada Abla Geiser is a trained pharmacist and obtained her Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Geneva in 2005, before pursuing postdoctoral training in pharmacogenetics at the University of California, San Francisco.

She is currently a researcher at Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) in Geneva, where she leads physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling within the clinical pharmacology group of the R&D team. Prior to joining MMV in 2014, she worked at Merck Serono in Geneva as a laboratory manager.
