ChatGPT au service de mes études : bonne ou mauvaise idée ?

Friday 22nd March 2024 | 12h15-14h00 | A100, Sciences II

(FR) | Chairs : Philippe Haeberli, Delphine Rinaldi (Pedagogical consultants at the Pôle de soutien à l’enseignement et l’apprentissage – SEA)

Objectives
In this workshop, concrete examples of IAG use (mainly chatGPT) will be presented and discussed, with the aim of optimizing your learning. Certain limitations and points to watch out for will also be discussed. The aim of the workshop is not to present specific IAGs (or how to use them), but to outline the principles of use and their limitations.

Description
By formulating relevant queries, IAG makes it possible to gather specific information on a subject; to help generate ideas and content; to obtain feedback and to evaluate oneself. IAG can be a valuable tool.
However, the answers generated must be scrupulously evaluated and verified. Critical analysis is therefore a key skill when using RTIs, especially as they can produce hallucinations - incorrect, irrelevant or even totally outlandish responses.
Points of vigilance also need to be considered, such as the handling of personal data, as well as issues relating to plagiarism and academic integrity.
