Staff also learn about how to use the upcoming telephony equipment in order to decide whether to opt for a headset or a landline phone. Support documentation is posted online ahead of the migration so that users can familiarize themselves with Zoom telephony.

From 13 April to 8 May 2026: needs analysis phase

From April 13 to May 8, 2026, expert engineers will count the number of landline phones and headsets needed and prepare for the actual migration.

From 11 May to 29 May 2026: effective migration phase

From 11 May to 29 May 2026: The phone icon is added to the Zoom workplace platform for staff without the need for users to update their software. A team of engineers and electricians makes the phone changes and connections on a workstation-by-workstation basis.

From 11 May 2026: support phase

From 11 May to 5 June 2026, a support hotline will be available to respond to user requests. Expert engineers will make any necessary adjustments and evaluate the migration.
