Migration process for the Dufour zone
Mid-april 2025 : information phase
During this preliminary phase, users of the Dufour Zone are informed of the issues involved and the key dates for the actual migration of their telephony to Zoom. Staff are also informed about the use of the future telephony equipment so that they can decide whether to opt for the headset or the fixed telephone. Support documentation is made available online in advance of the migration, so that staff can familiarise themselves with Zoom telephony.
In person Information sessions at Uni Dufour :

Tuesday 15 April & Thursday 17 April, 2pm-4pm, U600
Presentation of Zoom functionalities and headset test for users
> The content will be identical on both dates.
Mid-april to early may : selection phase
17 April to 5 May: users choose between the headset and the fixed telephone for their personal line. A form is sent by e-mail to all site employees. Those who wish to keep a landline telephone will let us know by completing the form. Non-respondents will automatically receive a free headset.
May : needs analysis phase
The expert engineers count the number of fixed telephones and headsets required and prepare the actual migration.
June : effective migration phase
From 2 to 20 June: The telephone icon is added to the Zoom workplace platform for staff, without the user having to update. A team of engineers and electricians changes the phones and connects them on a workstation-by-workstation basis.
From 2 june : support phase
A permanent support team responds to user requests. Expert engineers will make any necessary adjustments and evaluate the migration.
