This special issue entitled “Software tools and tutorials in liquid-state NMR” expresses the cutting edge of computational applications in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and related fields.
This issue contains a range of contributions presenting: NMR simulations (SpinDynamica, Spinach, Simpson, Anatolia), improved assignment tools (LSD, Plasmodesma, CMC-se), scalar coupling prediction (MSpin) and new processing software (Craft, Gnat). These papers are complemented by a discussion on data handling in chemistry laboratories, the presentation of the C6H6.org database to share small molecule spectral assignments and a platform to create browser-based NMR exercises for teaching.
I would like to thank all of the authors for their contributions to this issue. Special acknowledgement is extended to Jean-Marc Nuzillard for his help and advice during its preparation.
