About us

The joint association of the intermediate-level teaching and research staff (in French, Association Commune du CORps des collaborateurs et des collaboratrices De l'Enseignement et de la Recherche, ACCORDER) was founded on May 20th, 2014, and recognized by the Rectorate on March 21st, 2016.

The association seeks to represent and promote the interests of the body of teaching and research associates (CCER) before the different instances of our university beyond facultary divisions.

The association works for a democratic, participatory, open, and high-quality university. It is the privileged and constructive interlocutor of the Rectorate for all matters relating to the intermediate body which it defends. Moreover, it seeks to strengthen the cohesion among the intermediate body, and to become a platform for their joint action, especially during the different elections at the university.

In accordance with its statute (art. 2, paragraph 2), the association promotes:

a. A fair representation of the different bodies in the decision-making processes of the University of Geneva.

b. Equal opportunities within the University of Geneva.

c. The defense of the professional interests of the CCER by fighting against the precariousness of positions and promoting young researchers.

d. The cohesion and joint action of the CCER beyond faculty divisions.

e. Fair remuneration of the work and recognition of the skills of CCER members.

f. The recognition of doctoral students as young researchers.
