About the group

At the Affect, Learning, and Decisions Laboratory, we study the role of affect in learning and decision making. We also explore individual differences in these mechanisms and examine how these processes contribute to vulnerabilities and resiliences to mental health problems, such as addictive behaviors and anxiety.

To this aim, we use psychophysiological, behavioral, and neuroimaging techniques, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). We are based at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences at the University of Geneva.
