I was born and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, where I developed a love for science from a young age. I stayed in my hometown for my studies, completing both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry at the University of Geneva. During my studies, I had the opportunity to explore different fields: I completed several internships in Bioorganic chemistry and later focused my Master’s thesis in physical and analytical chemistry.

I like to learn, but I also like to share my knowledge. That's why, throughout my academic journey, I've given private lessons to students of any age. I also had the chance to supervise high school students during lab classes.

Once graduated, I was hired by Bracco Geneva, a medical research company, to work on ultrasound imaging contrast agents and medical device development, bridging chemistry with practical healthcare applications. In this company, I had the opportunity to work closely with groups located in Italy and in the United States. This experience enabled me to improve my organizational and teamwork skills. This also gave me valuable insight into the connection between research and its practical applications, while also strengthening my skills in a professional setting.

Now, as a PhD student in the Milton Group, I’m excited to work in an international research environment and contribute to innovative projects. This opportunity allows me to dive deeper into my interests in bioinorganic chemistry while learning from a diverse and dynamic team.

Outside chemistry, I've been playing the piano since the age of 8 and have improved my skills at the Geneva Conservatory of Music. Beyond my passion for the piano, I'm very interested in other artistic fields, such as drawing and photography, which offers me new perspectives. I also love going for hikes and discovering new places.
