Academic year 2026-2027

Welcome sessions by discipline

Once the general session is over, each discipline welcomes its new students in a room of its own. Here is how to find your way there.

Monday 14 September 2026, from 10h45 Four buildings Eleven disciplines

How the sessions are organised

The general session ends around 10h45, when the lecture is over. You then leave Auditorium A300 and make your own way to the room of the discipline you have chosen — there is no group transfer.

There, you are welcomed by the head of your section or department. This second session is devoted to the information specific to your field: how teaching is organised, the particularities of your study plan, who to contact. This information is not repeated in the general session: it is the only moment of the morning when it is given.

Allow a few minutes' walk if your session takes place outside Sciences II. Find your room below before the day itself: the four buildings concerned are close to one another, except for rue des Maraîchers.
