Join us for an insightful session at the "Focus on Science Careers 2024" event, where we have the pleasure of hosting McKinsey & Company, opening a window into the consulting industry for students from the University of Geneva. This event is specially curated for Bachelor, Master, or PhD students with a background in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), medicine, or business, who are eager to explore career avenues beyond traditional pathways. Participants will have the unique opportunity to delve into the experiences of a former STEM student who has successfully transitioned into consulting, gaining a firsthand understanding of the day-to-day life, challenges, and achievements characteristic of a consultant's journey. Additionally, the session will cover the variety of projects consultants engage with, offering a broad perspective on the impact and reach of their work across different sectors. An overview of the recruiting process will also be provided, demystifying the steps towards a career in consulting. Interested students are encouraged to register by March 19 with their CV, seizing the chance to discover how their academic foundations can pave the way to a rewarding career in consulting.
