Amok
Amok refers to an attack or threat to the community (also known as an "active shooter" situation) and requires specific instructions to be carried out in order to best protect oneself.
In the event of an assault or threat to the community (presence of an armed person or of a person holding explosives):
- Take cover, barricade yourself, remain silent
- Alarm
- Campus security: 022 379 1222
- Police: 117
- Wait and follow police instructions
