Project & Portfolio Management

The Project & Portfolio Management Unit provides the methodological framework for effectively driving change.

Acting as the backbone of projects, we offer project management tools, methods and training to professionalise practices at all levels. The Unit supports project teams on a daily basis, ensuring rigorous monitoring of initiatives (including deadlines, resources and results), and manages the Rectorate's portfolio of strategic projects.

Our ambition is to foster a common project management culture that is both flexible and disciplined, ensuring that each transformation achieves its objectives.

What do we offer?

  • Project management training. To strengthen internal project management skills, we offer practical workshops and training courses to promote the use of a common language and proven project management methods. Professionalising these practices increases the University's chances of successfully implementing sustainable transformations.
  • Project/programme development. To help initiative leaders turn ideas and intentions into concrete action plans, we support them in clarifying their needs, defining their objectives, planning key steps, and anticipating risks. This ultimately enables promising ideas to be transformed into feasible projects that align with institutional priorities.
  • Project, programme or strategy monitoring. To implement effective long-term management strategies, we help define the appropriate monitoring governance, including relevant roles, committees, and review frequencies. We assess progress and decide on any necessary adjustments through regular reviews. This rigorous monitoring process helps to ensure that the project stays on track.
