Amos Bronson Alcott (1799-1888)

 

Amos Bronson Alcott (1799-1888) was a self-taught philosopher, educator, writer, lecturer, and reformer: a vegan, abolitionist, suffagist, and pacifist. He is referred to as "Brother Lamb" and "Abel (Lamb)" in the text.
