I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences and the Department of Psychology at the University of Geneva, working under the supervision of Dr. Yoann Stussi in the E3Lab.

I completed my PhD in cognitive neuroscience at the Paris Brain Institute under the supervision of Dr. Mathias Pessiglione. I investigated the mechanisms through which intrinsically valuable information (such as facts perceived as interesting) guides learning and effort investment, in comparison with extrinsic rewards such as academic performance incentives. This work was grounded in the conceptual framework of decision theory.

My current postdoctoral project complements this line of research by examining how the value of information is acquired and shaped by affective processes, and how it drives information-seeking behavior.

My background is thus interdisciplinary and encompasses behavioral, neurophysiological, and computational approaches.

Research interests: information value, affective value, reinforcement learning, information-seeking, motivation, decision-making
