South Korean Master’s Students Visit the University of Geneva to Discuss Microplastic Pollution

Professor Vera Slaveykova from the Department F.-A. Forel for Environmental and Aquatic Sciences at the University of Geneva had the pleasure of hosting a group of Master’s students from several South Korean universities, including Korea University, University of Seoul, Kangwon National University, Ewha Womans University, and the Tech University of Korea.

As part of their study trip, the students took part in a discussion focused on microplastic pollution in aquatic environments. The exchange covered a broad range of topics, including the sources and ecological impacts of microplastics, as well as potential strategies and solutions to address this growing environmental issue.
