Study on the biogeochemical cycling of P, N and Fe in the South Pacific Ocean published in Global Biochemical Cycles
This study show the result from the first GEOTRACES transect in the South Pacific Ocean – an international expedition implying research vessels from Australia, New Zealand and USA. This work explores the role and the cycling of the two major limiting nutrients, Fe and N, in relation to deep Chlorophyll a maximum and fixation of atmospheric N2.
