Why Teaching Democratic Resilience Needs to Be Part of Business Education 

Dorothée Baumann-Pauly, GSEM Professor and Director of the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights argues that business education must explicitly link democracy, human rights, and sustainable markets. As democratic institutions weaken globally, companies—and future business leaders—need to understand how respecting human rights and supporting democratic governance underpin stable business environments and long‑term economic success.
