Preliminary Acceptance
You will be notified by email of a decision allocating your exchange. This is a conditional allocation, subject to various requirements.
Those awarded an exchange will be contacted at their @etu.unige.ch email address.
For faculty and multi-faculty agreements, decisions will be communicated at the start of January.
For SEMP (ex-Erasmus) and Coimbra-SEN exchanges, decisions will be communicated by March for applications submitted 1 December.
Exchanges are allocated conditionally.
NOTE:
The non-allocation of an exchange - or non-allocation of an exchange for a determined host university - is not subject to objection or appeal.
In addition, the allocation of an exchange by the International Relations Office is not final; your final acceptance depends on your home faculty (validation of the study plan) and the host university (access to courses, possible revision of study plan, etc.)
Once you have been allocated a place, you must complete the following steps within the deadlines required by your host university:
- obtain the validation of your study plan from your academic advisor
- SEMP: submit your study plan to the International Relations Office
- non-European agreements: submit your application to the host university (the required documents and deadlines will be communicated to you by email once you have been allocated a place).
