Study Plan/Learning Agreement
study plan
The study plan is a contract between you and the University of Geneva to ensure that the credits you have earned abroad are recognised as part of your degree in Geneva.
How to draw up a study plan
- Look for detailed course descriptions on the internet
- The list of classes chosen must be in compliance with the regulations of your academic programme at UNIGE and the agreement under which your exchange is to take place: check the subject, level of study (BA/MA), and available faculties on the list of foreign exchange opportunities
- Refer to your academic supervisor/guidance counsellor to validate your study plan
It may be that the course descriptions for the following academic year are not yet available at the time you see the information. If this is the case, develop your study plan based on existing information and discuss it with your academic advisor. You can always update your plan once you have arrived at your host institution.
Faculty-Specific Requirements
Within the framework of your foreign exchange, it is essential that you refer to the regulations of your study programme and take into account the specific requirements of your faculty.
