Support for researchers and PhD students
In September 2012, we set up two new mentoring and support services for researchers and PhD students in the Faculty of Humanities.
Researchers: This service provides researchers with information on new projects in the Humanities and encourages them to submit individual and group research in the various domains of the faculty. It offers them assistance and advice on how to get funding based on their specific profile and projects. It also provides them with scientific and administrative support (reading over research plans, assisting with grant applications and budget calculation).
PhD students: This service provides extra assistance to PhD students, in addition to the support already offered by their supervisor and program. Students can get information on administrative procedures and deadlines, as well as career and academic advice. It also offers students advice on how to get funding and assists them with their applications for grants and subsidies (reading over project plans, CVs and letters of intent). Furthermore, it organizes workshops and events, such as the PhD student days.
