Martina Rizzello

Martina Rizzello holds a BA in English and Japanese (2018) and an MA in English (2021) from the University of Geneva, where she graduated with a dissertation on the grammaticalisation of the vernacular uses of Italian tipo and English like. She studied abroad during her BA at the University of Kent (UK), and during her MA in Japan, at Keio University. She is now pursuing her PhD after joining a SNSF research project on clausal case marking, a collaboration between the University of Geneva and Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia. Her work focuses on the morpho-syntax of adjunct clauses introduced by prepositions in Romance languages.
