Michelle Bucher has been in Geneva since 2011, first as an SNSF professor and then as Maitre d'Enseignement et de Recherche, after a PhD from ETH Zurich and postdocs in Münster, Yale, KTH Stockholm and EPF Lausanne.

Her research area lies in geometry and topology with a particular focus on non positively curved manifolds.
