Young Investigator Award from LS2
This past September 1st 2020, during the annual meeting of the LS2 Physiology Section, a PHYM PhD student won the Young Investigator Award.
The first place for best talk went to Tahir Idris from the group of Pr. Marc Chanson for his excellent presentation entitled “CFTR channelopathy and signaling pathways in differentiation towards a functional airway epithelium”.
The CFTR protein is a membrane protein and chloride channel. Mutations of the CFTR gene lead to cystic fibrosis.
