A rich lecture from Pr Ivan de Curtis
On Thursday April 27, Pr Ivan DE CURTIS, Cell adhesion Unit, University Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Italy, invited by Pr. Bernhard WEHRLE-HALLER & Pr. Monica GOTTA, gave a lecture entitled “Assembly and regulation of plasma membrane-associated networks at the front of motile cells”.
He presented some recent insights on the mechanisms driving the protrusive activity at the edge of migrating cells and developing neurons. His research is particularly focused on the protein network, PMAP, implicated in the regulation of protrusion in distinct settings, such as cell migration, invasion, and neuronal development.
