Dr Antonin Broi is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Geneva, and a member of both the Interfaculty Center for Affective Sciences (CISA) and the Geneva Centre for Philanthropy. After completing his PhD at Sorbonne University in 2020, he spent two years in China at Wuhan University as a postdoctoral researcher.

Specialized in ethics, Antonin Broi focuses on fundamental axiological questions, such as the value of pleasure and suffering, as well as more applied issues related to the nature of our duties of beneficence. His current research project examines the role of effectiveness considerations in philanthropic decision‑making.
