Alexandre joined the Renewable Energy Systems group at the University of Geneva as a PhD student in February 2022. In SWEET EDGE project, his research focuses on the quantification and modeling of distributional impacts across society and key actors related to the transition to high shares of decentralized renewable energy systems in Switzerland, as well as on strategies to minimize unintended inequalities.

Prior to joining the group, Alexandre obtained a MSc in Sustainable Energy Planning and Management from Aalborg University in Denmark. Some of his previous work includes proposing future energy sector scenarios, analyzing support schemes to promote renewable energy communities and investigating decentralized electricity market mechanisms useful to alleviate precarious access to electricity.
