Geneva Convention Bureau Impact Award 2025
The Impact Award of the Geneva Convention Bureau was awarded to the 2025 Scientific Assembly of IAVCEI because of the impact it had on the Geneva public. It was recognised that on top of the absolute scientific value of the conference, many events that were organised around the conference such as the outreach stand, the exposition “Le feu de la Terre”, the transformation of the jet d’eau in the Geneva volcano, contributed to make the Geneva public aware of the impact (negative and positive) of volcanoes on our society.
