 The purpose of the one-million-euro Millennium Technology Prize is to promote the use of research-based technologies in solving global challenges and to find ways to improve life on the planet in a sustainable way. The Prize is awarded for groundbreaking technological innovations that are accessible and are bringing benefit to people around the world.
