The key to understanding climate change at the Third Pole lies in the past

An international research team, which includes Prof. Daniel Ariztegui, has been granted US $ 1.5 million from the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP) to drill Lake Nam Co, one of the largest and deepest lakes on the Tibetan Plateau called the world’s “Third Pole”.
