Mr. Zhen Liu is a PhD student  supported by a grant of the China Scholarship Council to work in the AMS Geneva group under the supervision of Dr. Mercedes Paniccia.

Thesis subject: Measurement of cosmic Aluminum and Magnesium nuclei fluxes with the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer and estimation of the cosmic-ray  confinement time in the galaxy from the surviving fraction of the secondary radionuclide 26Al.
