Senior Research and Teaching Assistant, my research interests include: (i) Characterization of environmental fate and distribution of different forms of inorganic pollutants, including dissolved metal species, natural and manufactured nanomaterials; (ii) Identification of biomolecule/nanoparticles interaction; (iii) (Eco)toxicology impact of pollutants at molecular, cellular and organism scale. To explore those topics, I have worked with a variety of organisms, both prokaryotic and eukaryotic.
Currently, I am focused on the bioavailability and molecular ecotoxicology of nanoparticles to aquatic microorganisms and aquatic invertebrates. I am teaching different classes for the bachelor students at the Section of Earth and Environmental Sciences, for master students enrolled in the interdisciplinary Master of Environmental Science.
I received my PhD in Environmental science from the Aix-Marseille University in 2009, in the field of cellular bioenergetics and cytogenotoxic effects of metal. From 2010 to 2017, I held several research positions at European Center for Research and Education in Environmental Geoscience (CEREGE) and French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA).
