Lucas Raynal is a PhD student in developmental cognitive psychology at the Paragraph Lab. He studies how analogies contribute to conceptual development. More precisely, he investigates the retrieval processes that lead to access stored analog situations. He also studies the child's ability to analogically use familiar concepts in order to interpret new situations through the phenomenon of semantic approximations. His experimental methods include behavioral and electrophysiological responses.
