What do you do when your 8h train ride to Barcelona gets delayed by 5h? Meet with your PhD supervisor in the restaurant wagon for an apéro to talk about your research design! We arrived late but in full solidarity with the protestors in Barcelona and were much luckier than colleagues - also on their way to the conference of the European Roundtable for Sustainable Consumption and Production - who were stuck inside the airport for many more hours!
