The GSEM publishes its 2023 Annual Report

The Geneva School of Economics and Management has published its Annual Report, reflecting on the year 2023. It presents the School's activities, commitments, and developments in the fields of teaching, research, and services to the community.

In 2023, the GSEM was able to substantially progress with implementing its strategy, which focuses on becoming a leading school that educates responsible leaders for a diverse and changing society by building on its Geneva Advantage.

The School celebrated a record number of 429 graduates from its degree programs. The student body continues to be one of the most diverse among business schools, with 45% female students and 45% international students. The GSEM's faculty members and researchers published 19 articles in top-tier journals, obtained major grants including from the Swiss National Science Foundation and European Union, and received numerous awards and nominations.

The GSEM further strengthened its academic competence, research, and visibility by organizing over 100 research seminars, workshops, and brown bags. It also has the honor of welcoming Professor Esther Duflo, 2019 Nobel Prize Laureate in Economics for the Luigi Solari Lecture: “Good Economics for Warmer Times”.

The annual report offers information about the GSEM’s advancements in teaching, research, and innovation. It provides an overview of developments and key figures; highlights the achievements of the School, its Faculty, and students; and invites us to relive the highlights of the School's year.
